We were delighted to celebrate our first birthday at Weybridge Padel Club with our members and friends. It was a fantastic day out, full of padel as well as the unveiling of our “David Garrett Court”.
Happy birthday to us!
On Monday 26th August, we held our birthday bash at Weybridge. On the day, around 100 people came and went, enjoying friendly games, lots of fun and laughter and an incredibly exciting exhibition match!
The highlight of our event was to unveil the plaque above court one, which we have dedicated to David Garrett, the original founder of Weybridge Padel Club - here’s a photo of David which we found from 2015!

Club Nights and Mix-Ins
There are a few things we would like to bring to your attention with regards to our club events especially pertaining to Club Nights:
- To book onto a Club Night, you need to go to the “Competitions Tab” in Playtomic and not “Academy Tab”. We have made the cancellation period the same as for court bookings (4 hours before the start)
- If you cancel outside of 4 hours you will be refunded. If you do not cancel in time or don’t show for a club event, we are introducing a 2 week booking ban.
- There is a chat in Playtomic where you can contact the players or the coach attending your club night to let them know if you are running late or need to make a change.
New Club Night Entry Levels
As the year has progressed the level of play has improved for many players, so we are changing the entry levels for club nights.
- Beginner/New To Padel (Playtomic Rating 0 - 0.8)
- Improver ( Playtomic Rating 0.8 - 1.5)
- Intermediate ( Playtomic Rating 1.6 - 2.4)
- Upper Intermediate (Playtomic Rating 2.3 to 3.6)
When you sign up for a club event the “tournaments option” will now restrict you according to your Playtomic rating. If you are unable to join a club night because your rating is incorrect, you can do a levelling course with Claire or Peter.
Junior Clubs
These are starting up again from Sunday 8th and Monday 9th September at 4pm. Monday Junior Padel Club is for children aged 11 - 14 years and is run by Claire Pollard. Sunday Junior Padel Club runs 2 - 3 Sundays of the month, for ages 7 - 14 years. All sessions can be viewed and booked via our new booking app for junior events: BOOK HERE
**These clubs will only go ahead with a min of 4 players and are weather dependant.
Did You Know??
You can head over to Bannatyne’s Club House where you can grab a cold drink, beer or coffee as well as a light meal or snack. Why not pre-order drinks for after your matches and enjoy more time getting to know your players. Make use of the Conservatory at Bannaytnes especially as the weather changes.
Memberships & Renewals
Just as a reminder, Weybridge is currently closed to all new members - but don’t worry, we are still accepting renewals at the club for existing members. When your membership is due to expire, you will receive an email from us explaining what you will need to do to renew your membership for another year. Please look out for that email and check your junk messages - it will come from info@ezeepadel.com and will be sent before your membership expires.
You will have until a couple of weeks after your membership expires to renew, otherwise we will open up your place on our waiting list. Please bear this in mind if you wish to renew with us as you may end up on our waiting list if you pass the deadline - so make sure you renew promptly!

We get lots of messages asking us about the differences between open and private matches on Playtomic - so here’s a brief guide.
